Today we adventured to Tamarindo, the bigger town in this part of Costa Rica. As the crow flies it is about 5 minutes, but by car, it was about ½ hour. It is a surf town with lots of hotels, surf shops and sourvenir shops. We parked and walked around and shopped. Eva got a fresh coconut to sip from. We started our trip with an overnight in South San Francisco at a cute boutique hotel called the Inn at Oyster Point. It was a darling and very accommodating hotel that had a sweet room with a fireplace and fantastic view of the Oyster Point Harbor, the bay and across to the East Bay and Mount Diablo beyond.
