Mountain climbing !

I've sent the last few days exploring the island - drove around it in about 2 hours and then started going into the mountains. I found a road ( for lack of better term, more of a trail ) that rises up 2000 feet to the top of on of these hills - great experience , but should have rented a dirt bike, the scooter took a beating :) anyway, at the top there is a huge standing temple in the middle of no where.... The scenery was awesome, the pics I took don't really do it justice...... What an awesome island. If I come back I would split my time between here and Chiang Mai and forget about Bangkok to be honest.

I have also found time to relax beach side and swim and read. The water is like swimming in a bathtub, Bronte you would love it ! So warm.

The nightlife here is pretty crazy, very busy and noisy, they must have about 100 bars/clubs in a 2 km stretch - and that's just in the area I am saying in....

I will be sad to leave here. Two more nights then back to Bangkok for two more before heading home. Back to reality will be a shocker.....
