Hey Guys

Travelled from Lake Taupo to Wellington on the desert road amazing views of the snow covered mountains and the groves in the rocks made by the snow, was a really cool drive. Stayed at the bottom of the National Park in a youth hostel were you could hire out your own private spa pool for 2 pounds for as long as you want ahh its the life hey................

What fun we've had in Windy Wellington, no wonder they call it that its mad down there the wind is so strong and boy when it rains it rains. We got there early Thursday and spent the whole day (7 1/2 hours) walking around exploring the city, its pretty cool loads of shops down little streets and different sort of buildings evreywhere a lot better than Auckland, went on the cable car to. Even seen a bit of action a poor guy putting up Christmas decorating by crane fell in the street and died, lucky we turned up a little after so we didn't see it happen police had put a cover over him by then but still loads of blood around and police and news crew everywhere. In the nite went out to a Mexican restaurant and had these massive fahitas the place was decorated really well and packed with people, we then went to the cinema to see the new James Bond movie. The screen was massive at least 3x the size of Jersey's and so loud.

Caught the boat over yesterday morning to South Island was a really cool journey traveling thought the Marbrough Sounds and well nice weather when we got into Picton. The South Island so far has been amazing driving down the roads that are surrounded by the mountains,we even had time to stop and have a go on a zip fly over a hugh gorge with a river running below, we've hit the West Coast traveling down the scenery is something else, beaches and some cool sighs from the cliffs. Went to visit a seal colony this morning which was cool all the babies have just been born so loads were around on all the rocks, at the moment were just visiting these weird rock formations called the pancake rocks. They are these hugh blow holes we've been watching trying to take a good photo of. South Island looks brilliant from just being here 2 days so we can't wait to explore the rest.
