Bula....
Just spent the last eight day on the fiji experience meeting all the friendly locals and seeing some of the most amazing places. We spent the first day getting to know the group which was a really good mixed bunch and straight away we all clicked and knew that we were gonna have a brillant time. We started with sand boarding which was such a laugh the only problem was getting to the top. It took about 5 mins to get there and only 5 secs to get back down and as u can see in the picture its not a great idea to try and surf down (jay).... We then went on a 3 and half hour hike though the mountains and forest Which some lazy people didn't do (natalie) it was pretty tough but at the end we got to go tubing back down the river which made it all worth the while. Then got on a long boat up the river which looked like it was going to sink but got to see some amazing view as we went though the canyons and rapids so much fun. After that we went to see the local school but got there a bit of an unusual way bili bili rafting which is aload of bamboos tied together lucky enough we had some dry towels waiting for us. The school was fantastic to see and meet all the kids they are all so happy although they dont have alot. Also got the change to visit a local villiage and experience a proper 'Cava Ceromany' which is a root of a plant mixed with water that gives you a nice relaxing feeling and numb mouth. After staying at some pretty dodgy hostels fiji was such a great change they were more like hotels right on the beach front with some stunning views. We then went to BeachComber island which is one of 333 islands around Fiji and has a bit of a party atmosphear and it only takes all of 5mins to walk around but still amazing stunning with some beautiful reefs full of all types of fish and coral. We then sadly had to say good bye to the group hoping that we well meet up agian. Fiji was a fantastic place good food really nice and frendly people and a real eye opener for shabby lifestyle living conditions, hopefully we're gonna have just as much if not more in Thailand,Loa,Vietnam, and Cambodia. Only six weeks to go till were home 'are no' its gone so fast and as im sure u all know from are diary entries we have had the time of are lives. We'll hopefully be able to write one more entry but as Thailand goes who knows...
speak to u all soon jay and nat.....................
