Javelin's Brittany trip
A short sail from Fowey to the river Yealm just east of Plymouth. The sun was out all day apart from an isolated fog bank we ran into. It was bright sunshine without a cloud in the sky when we spotted a line of fog in front of us stretching out to sea. The boats just in front disappeared from view and the we followed them into the fog. Switched on the radar and Jo posted look out at the front of the boat. Got out the fog horn only to find it did not work. Fortunately the fog was short lived and we continued insincere the rest of the way. The entrance to the Yealm is an interesting set of transits into a fast flowing river. We moored up and used the dinghy to go to The Ship Inn at Noss Mayo for an excellent meal.
