Javelin's Brittany trip
Another hot day with very little wind, decided to go to Lyme Regis as this is only suitable in this weather and have never been before. When we arrived, thinking it would be Thomas Hardy and French Lieutenant's women, we discovered a very busy seaside with hundreds of people on the beach. It was more like a scene out of "where's Wally" than Thomas Hardy. It is also RNLI week with lots of activities including live music and gig racing. The old town is buried behind the seaside shops. Found a good tapas restaurant and had an enjoyable dinner.
