Javelin's Brittany trip
A faint mist hung over the tree tops as we set of from the river Yealm. Warship Monmouth announced she was live firing and we heard a few booms but could not see her. The sun was out but there was no wind at all so we motored to Hope Cove where we anchored. I went swimming in very cold water and scrubbed Javelin's bottom. It is a pretty spot spoilt only by the motor boats and jet skis rushing back and forth. after lunch we motored to Salcombe. We are on a mooring buoy rafted to another yacht with a three year old boy and very large dog aboard. We got in the dinghy to get a fish and chip supper and a drink in the yacht club.
