A faint mist hung over the tree tops as we set of from the river Yealm. Warship Monmouth announced she was live firing and we heard a few booms but could not see her. A short sail from Fowey to the river Yealm just east of Plymouth. The sun was out all day apart from an isolated fog bank we ran into. It was bright sunshine without a cloud in the sky when we spotted a line of fog in front of us stretching out to sea. The boats just in front disappeared from view and the we followed them into the fog. Switched on the radar and Jo posted look out at the front of the boat. New crew all aboard we sailed for Fowey stopping at a beautiful bay for lunch. The sun shone all day and the winds were light. We rafted on a floating pontoon in the river and had a delicious barbecue aboard.

A great crossing to Falmouth covering 141 miles in 22 hours with Javelin eating up the miles. Eventually as the dawn occurred the wind died and we motored the last couple of hours arriving at 6:59am.
