We made the first cruise from Westminster Pier along the Thames. Another drizzly morning that did turn into rain. We did see a bit of sun and humidity. We took the boat back to Westminster Pier after reaching the Tower of London.

We walked up Whitechapel passing 10 Downing Street (with an angry protest going on) and stopped at Horse
Guards Parade the snaps few shots. We carried on from Trafalgar Sq to Covent Garden and had lunch in the hidden away Neal's Yard. Spencer was excited to find a Space Invader there.

After lunch John and Esme walked up to the British Museum while Spencer looked at the London Transport Museum and I got a little shopping in :-)

We all met up at the British Museum. John and Esme were finished so Spencer and I had a fast look around - the Rosetta Stone, various Assyrian statues and sarcophagi and the frieze from the Parthenon in Athens. Superb!

We picked up food on our way home from M&S Simply Food (great to have cheaper options like this and Pret A Manger).
