Nice and short blog entry... Not much has been happening.
This week has been slow mainly cus I havent recovered from the weekend completely. Its hard to catch up on sleep. We have early mornings and late nights cus the nights are the best opportunity to hang with the other counsellors and get away from the kids. So midnight is a normal bedtime and 730 a regular wakeup.
Tuesday night the nightly activity for the kids was rollar skating. Thats was awesome fun, its tougher than it looks but I was a natural of course! Monday night we had a movie on a big screen on the field that was fun. however one of the kids in a bunk said he was leaving on Sunday cus he had had enough of camp and didn't want to waste his money. Unfortunately this lead to the rest of his bunk balling their eyes out cus they had all been together since their first camp. I couldn't bear it and dished it off to other people. They're 11 for goodnesssakes... I had no sympathy and wanted to tell them to toughen up, they cried for an hour!
Thursday night was Giggles birthday (One of the Kiwis) so we all had our early nights (6pm finish) and went to dinner and a movie. Dinner was good I got a burhger and chips for ten bucks good value. We saw Hancock, great film. Turns out there were 27 of us at the movies which raised the question of who was actually back at camp... The movie went till 1120 and was 40 minutes away from camp. Which meant, we were pushing our 12pm curfew. We had to run down the driveway, being late would mean loss of an early night. Which in the real world is the equivalent to the death penalty.
Someone shat in the pool today so we got to close it. I wish it happened more often. Visiting day is on Sunday so tomorrow is a massive cleaning day... Hopefully I will get some tips, but doubt it cus I dont spend much time with my children.
Getting a lil fed up with one of the other poolies. She is so lazy that she wouldn't be able to get a job at Guildford, haha thats so lazy!
Got a letter from my Grandma yesterday, that was incredibly suprising! I was so happy when I saw the letter on my bed. The kids get mail every day. Might go write back to her now.
Any Tour de France Updates are mostly appreciated also pretty keen to hear what everyone else is up to back home.
