Rose early for a 6am phone call back with my Exec team to discuss the Wellington Earthquake situation. Sad to leave Uncle Ray and Aunty Gill after a fantastic week up North. We caught a train down to London. Great way to travel. Over 170 miles in just over 2 hours. We planned to visit the Wellcome Museum that had a gallery on medicine and humanities. Got there only to be told the galleries are closed on a Monday. It was roasting hot in London so we braced the heat and walked to the British Library. Great statue if Newton outside the Library. We had chauffeur service from Emirates pick us up and take us to Gatwick. 2 and a 1/4 hours later we arrived. What gridlock! Lucky we had left plenty of time. Now for our long flight back to Oz after a fantastic 3 week holiday celebrating my 50th. Pity a few crisis meetings had to be thrown in in the last two days due to the Wellington earthquakes . Still had a great time relaxing and recharging. With one hour to board our flight Kirsten is a little disappointed the Royal baby won't arrive whilst we are in London
