We enjoyed a good walk through wheat and barley fields in Ormskirk. The only day that has not been clear so we were unable to see the Blackpool Tower that can usually be seen from here. It was good to get a lung full of good country air.
We headed off back to Uncle Ray's where Aunty Gill had cooked up an amazing lamb roast dinner to celebrate our last night here in the UK for 2013. We contributed with a good bottle of NZ Pinot Noir.
After dinner Jacki will have to get back onto checking on Wellington and the shakes after another 8 hours of aftershocks and the city being closed off due to need to inspect the damage.
