I need to upload some photos, these one's aren't mine they are from the galley on the blog site! I am still having a great time here, no complaints and not much to write since I have been making phone calls a lot lately! Right now I have a lot of uni work to do! Mostly a lot of reading which is tedious and challenging but expanding my mind, particularly my philosophy readings! I am loving my classes! I have to go from 9 to 5 daily (except weekends) which is hard work, but its made easier because I absolutely love what I am doing. My first class is human rights, which is my favourite, then philosophies of leadership which is very intense and then comparative politics which is a very thought provoking class and a lot of fun. I have not had a chance to go sightseeing yet, I keep reminding myself I am here to study and will have plenty of time to see the place after the program, but it's hard not to be swept away! I am constantly in awe of the beauty of this place! I walk home along the river everyday instead of taking the tram, just to take it all in and gaze at all the buildings! The architecture here is just unbelieveable. Nothing in Australia could quite compare! Althought the first few days were challenging with the language barrier and the foreigness of everything, I am really strating to feel at home in Prague =) I love my little dorm room, even with its worn out blankets, creaky cupboards and strange shower. I love my classroom with its view of the river. I love the walk to the bakery on the corner and the jam and custard pastries I have for brekky. I love the shop by the laundromat, which sells the most beautiful flowers and gorgeous marilyn monroe products that I wish so much I could fit in my backpack! I even love washing my clothes by hand and hanging them across a line by the window which makes the whole room smell like spring! Every little apartment and shop has flowers in their window, thats one of my favourite things =) I can't wait to explore this city more and more! There is everything to love about it. My language is still terrible, but it makes me feel a little better when I can say please, thankyou and good day! I have bought only one thing for myself so far, a pair of hot pink roman style sandals. Mum you will probably think they are hideous, but I am never getting rid of them! These are the shoes I have walked the streets of Prague with, and will again some day I'm sure! I have a feeling my uni degree is going to take 10 years, I just want to explore the world!! Sorry that I am not missing home too much :P All my love
