Well I can't seem to figure out how to write back on the message board so here is a special entry just for you mum to let you know how I am eating!
While at the retreat my breakfast consisted of:
2x small bowls cornflakes, grapes, cherries and a bananna or nectarine, two slices of rye bread with jam, a tub of yoghurt, 2x glasses of orange juice ( I'm not a big fatty I just needed the energy!!)
Lunch:
Soup- usually a chicken noodle and vegetable, sometimes a pea and lentil, salad, which is served in like a cocktail glass, and the main course which has included everything from rice with tofu in different dressings, pasta with tofu stir fry, fried cheese, grilled vegies and then a dessert which is fruit, ice cream or fodorka which is a choclate treat (lunch is the biggest meal here!)
Dinner:
All kinds of things from potatoe cakes and spinnach, to mexican rice balls and salad, friend cheese, traditional pasta dishes, and fish.
We are self catering now though so I have stocked up on cornflakes, museli bars, fresh fruit, noodles and soups, rye bread and jam. We usually go out for dinner. Last night I had spaghetti sorento. Devine!! I went to the market in Brumov and got three pastries, a bannana and a packet of chocolate biscuits for 2 dollars! Cornetto's cost one dollar so I treat myself to those occasionally =) I am eating vegetarian tho, so please let me know what a good source of protein would be to make up for the lack of meat?? No eggs tho, I hate them mumma!!
Hope you are proud that I have tried every single thing I have been given! Missing your home cooked food tho! Better get lunch before class!!!
