Hi everyone!
I made it to Seoul alive!!! First big step out of the way =)
I found out this morning that Dave my idiot travel agent has not made the arrangements for my accomodation tonight.
Major freakout! I wrote an email and Matty has been calling, so in about 5 minutes I will find out whether or not I will homeless tonight!
The plane trip was pretty good. Fair bit of turbulence but I wasn't scared (much!). I had a good seat in the middle.
It was a five seat row with only three of us so it was nice and spacious! And to top it off one off the woman next to
me is from Prague so we had a good old chat =) Korean airways was amazing. We walked in and were given a pillow and
a blanket, shown to our seats and given a complimentry pack of socks, toothpaste and toothbrush and an eyemask.
A few hours into the flight we had lunch. Fruit salad, ski yoghurt, blueberry muffin, chicken with noodles and veg and juice
Dinner was a bit gross seaweed soup with rice and all these things in it! Pretty sure mine had some octopus. But embracing
all new experiences I ate everything! (I think you would be proud mum!) Even the seaweed soup which actually wasn't too bad
We got unlimited drinks which I thought was amazing until I had to wait for ever to use the loo (several times!)
The only thing I would fault them on was having english films with asian voice overs and asian subtitles. Good one!
Lucky I had all my Europe books. Finally finished my Greece itinerary!!!! Customs was a pain in the butt. Better get
used to it now I suppose!! Anyways I have a million things to say but I'm running out of Asian money so I better go!
I love you all very much and miss you like crazy already. I haven't had a mental breakdown yet, but I'll keep you posted.
