You know what they say, the journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step. And that step happened to come in the form of an hour delay, and hour waiting for luggage and then being questioned by the Canadian boarder forces before I could leave the airport. Then on arrival to my hotel I was bemused as how to enter as the only door led to their underground club and strip joint below the hotel but eventually I made my way up to the room and slept with both eyes open, a skill I didn't know I had. Thanks to everyone who gave me a great send off, managed to avoid a massive hangover by eating a big mac, chips, 6 chicken nuggets and this fabulous new burger named the CBO, which I would recommend to anyone.
Now at the chalet at Whistler, which is amazing and filled with nice people, as I had hoped. Controversy struck on the first day as my card was rejected to buying skis after around three hours of waiting to get everything sorted but in the end I managed to pay the next day and somehow got $200 off of the original price. Yesterday we went out for the for the first ski of the holiday and I absolutely loved it, mainly due to having a great pair of skis and boots that fit for once. Buying a poker set today for all that care, need to be able to fund this holiday I guess and that seemed like the most appropriate thing to do. Will be getting a new number soon which I will message to all you group members.
Just a quick tally of what's to come over the next week. Tonight hitting a club crawl in the main town hopefully will be awesome. Skiing for Thursday and Friday and nothing planned for the weekend. On Tuesday I turn 19 and as if there were some sort of divine intervention he has placed a Playboy Mansion night on at a club in town on Monday night. Hallelujah.
