Continued.....

So from the informative seat61.com website it says you can book a 2nd class a/c sleeper to CM the day before. It seems you can't - they had a 2nd class non a/c which arrived at 5 am. So I ask about the next day - they have space on a train with a better arrival time but still 2nd class no a/c, he says there is a fan, I ask if 'the fan will be ok for me?'.........he laughs. I wasn't too sure which way to take his joyous reply so I booked it anyway. Which means 1 more day in BK - a day I may need to hydrate myself ready for the funny fan train.
Feet are really hurting now....

Get cab to Siam skytrain, but before pop into a funky clothes shop. The guys at the back looked a little startled I had come in, possibly because they were newly opened and stocking the shelves. I take a fancy to a shoe, ask how much it is (too much ~£35) but the newly hired assistant says I buy 1 pair I get 10% discount, he then says if I buy 2 pairs I get 20% discount, 3 pairs i get....he prompts me to reply..... '30% Discount!' I exclaim in delight that i understand how the discount works, my mind clinked for a moment and i present the question 'if I buy 10 pairs?.......' I prompt him to reply but instead i am left with a baffled expression....... We agree without saying a word that the sale of the shoe isnt going to work and that he might have to re-assess the stores discount policy before they fully open.
I head back to the hotel with feet as sore as high heaven......
