Hi readers, here we go with a quick blogg but no glasses so watch out...

Left Paris early Wednesday morning to a little drama with the taxi some 30 minutes late and the hotel manager beggining to panic because he had booked it. Finally a replacement vehicle arrived because the first one had broken down, a quick dash to the airport in less than 30 minutes cost us 55 euros but we couldnt argue (later we found average fare 35 euros!!!), plane was delayed because crew member was sick, then unannouncd it almost left on time so good job we were checked in and ready to board.

Flight was quick but we still managed to doze a little, arrived to 20 odd degrees and plenty of sun after leaving a dreary Paris.

Hotel is fine, clean and comfortable i think is the term but havent managed to work out the bidet yet!!!

Spent arvo checking out Rome tour options and learning how to cross the street and still live. Found great coffee bar where we could sit and enjoy two great caps for 3 euros---almost makes up for Taxi fare. Did first run on the hop on off bus to get an idea of Rome and check out papas place, found internet cafe and finished off Paris, good nights sleep left us ready for today.

We have realised we are missing too much in these bloggs so i wont talk about today until tomorrow when we will spend more time.

Just to keep you interested, tomorrow we go to Papas place and check out the decorating to get some tips
