We woke up late to the significant rocking of the ferry. After Mom took her second gravel and we stumbled to the cafeteria for some lunch. Where Dad enjoyed a platter of cheese and a juice box of wine, nothing but the best. We then spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and awaiting the shoreline of Spain.
We arrived Barcelona shortly after six and some how Dad managed to jump the queue and we were amongst the first ones of the boat. Which was good thing because it took a while to find the apartment we are staying in. Dad's "trusty" GPS decided to no longer show us the roads. After a hectic and thanks to dad's backup GPS we managed to find the place. However, there was no one around to let us in. After we illegally parked we decided to go into a local store and ask for a phone to call the landlord. It just so happens the store worker knew where the landlord lived and walked over to his place and buzzed him down.
We ended the day with a fabulous meal at a Spanish restaurant next to La Sagrada Familia (a massive church has been under constructions since 1882 and will be until 2030 but more on that tomorrow). For supper we had; grilled squid, huge dishes of rice and amazing seafood, and the best humous I have ever tasted. We discovered it was truly amazing when you dipped French fries in it. All topped off with a great bottle of spanish wine.

Auntie Kathy Glad to hear you are keeping up with the blog. I'm sure that you will notice the difference in travelling with your parents. I hope you all enjoy the next few weeks. Please have a glass of wine for me. Love you Auntie Kathy
Amanda Only europeans can be that disorganized. Having to find the landlord would never be allowed in America.
