I am feeling that the website has been a little neglected of late so it is time to fill you all in on the latest adventures from the other sie of the world!   We flew to Sydney from Melbourne on Monday, with Dobbin hot on our tails two hours later and checked into the Pink House, as recommended by Alex of Cusco fame.  Sadly the thought that all fit men would follow the same hostel trail around the world was found not to be the case as our hostel is...

We have been in Melbourne for four nights now, and the weather is glorious, much to our great delight!!!  We seem to have booked to come here at the worst time possible as the AFL final (the biggest sporting event of the Aussie calendar) took place this weekend, right in the middle of our visit! Visited the Old Melbourne Gaol which was incredibly depressing, the Melbourne Zoo (great fun, Sarah's favourite animals were the wombat and the monkeys...

Well it has come to the end of our time in New Zealand and we had to say goodbye to our campervan which was a thoroughly daunting prospect if you could see all the junk stuffed in the back of it!!!!Did some amazing stuff in New Zealand....we skydived over the Abel Tasman national park (14 000 feet...it was incredible!), did an ice hike in the pouring rain which might have been really good had we not turned into glaciers ourselves...  After that we headed dow...

We have now got our state of the art campervan, complete with kitchenette and dvd player and are on our road trip around NZ! We spent the first couple of days in Auckland, went up the tallest tower in the southern hemisphere and went to an Ice Bar where we had to hire suits (which claire reckons looked like my pingu coat) and boots.
