We are now happily in cusco. Its really hot during the day so we have been sunbathing. Our bikinis have even had an outing, albeit at night (there was a twisted prom party at the hostel and we had to improvise on the costume front!). Had a night out with Dobbin, Nick and Marcus from Law School which was comedy - they are regretting not choosing our hostel!! Just relaxing before our 5.20am start on Wednesday for the Inca Trail. That will be a challenge!

Well we are ready to move on from Lima already. It's freezing cold here and you guys are enjoying a red hot summer! We've spent the last few days in Lima filling in time before our flight to Cusco first thing tomorrow morning. We have wandered past the beach (but been nowhere near the sea not only because it is too cold but also because it is too dangerous. Nice.). Hey everyone! Made it to Peru! We're just settling in at the mo but we've already tried the infamous flourescent yellow inca cola. As suspected, Claire hates the stuff! So far we've discovered that Peruvians are crazy drivers and are abnormally short. Claire has yet to find a local who is taller than her and even Sarah is doing well in the height stakes! One hour and counting til Shona arrives...

Well, Claire's birthday antics were great....albeit very short lived! She gets the award for most grumpy drunkard along with my sister! xx
