Yes yes, believe it or not that is actually me in the photo looking terrfiying as a corpse bride....i managed to scare everyone in my dorm by changing appearance so drastically but Brendan (aka the terrorist above) was actually probably the scariest of the lot!  This was all due to the Wake Up! halloween party on in Side Bar, my new favourite haunt (no pun intended!).  Somehow i always seem to either be hugging the toilet seat in there after a few too many glasses of vino after work or deciding that everybody in the bar must down Jaegermeister shots.  For those who don't know, jaegermeister is the most vile drink ever invented, it looks like poison, tastes like poison and it definitely has the same effects as poison!

Maddy checked into the hostel for the night and as you can see from the pics we were two corpse brides together.  Many drunken photos were taken and new friends galore were made (hence the strange looks we are now getting from people we think are randoms in the hostel!).  Strange events in a 24 bed dorm (ask us later) and the poison drinks meant sure that sunday was an absolute write off for us both!  Friday night was much the same as ever...i now have a random Ozzie stalker from Canberra - this is what happens when you chat to people in the hostel bar after drinking post work without any dinner! 

Off to the Blue Mountains on a day trip tomorrow with my day off from work - just to depress everyone at home it was a toss up between a surf lesson at Bondi or the day trip but the promise of my pic with a koala swung the decision to do the day trip!
