Haven't said much about rickshaw travel who we booked with but they are excellent. Whilst we've been doing the golden triangle bit we've had our own driver Raj, who knows all the best places to stop, eat, take pictures etc. He can't do enough for us. Then at each town we have a local guide who does any queuing and dealing with security etc then tells us about what we are seeing. At night we go it alone and venture out into the chaos. We take tuk tuks or rickshaws and explore the local area. In Agra it's been a bit too much for us. We gather crowds and hawkers so we can't move and it's generally dark and there is nothing to buy so they get fed up with us. In Jaipur and Delhi it was fine and quite exciting. We bought lots of things and it was better lit.
Anyway back to Delhi tomorrow before heading north on the train on Thursday which we are really looking forward to.
Not sure when we will next have WiFi but we love hearing from you all, and can't wait for 2 lots of baby news, how our house is holding up, and how the cold and snow is treating you.
Mary, it's hard enough sending photos, if we get a better wifi connection we will try for video. However whilst we had lunch we took some footage of traffic, with a cow sleeping between the carriageways, some loose donkeys, a camel with a load of strW as big as a house and a load of buses and lorries full of people electioneering. Quite mad.
Love to you all

Christine It sounds fantastic, i like the sound of your guide, do you have to pay him lots of tips...? It has been so cold here for the last few days the trees are frozen and white and look lovely but its freezing. My car handbrake froze on this morning and i had to wait for it to defrost before i went...i needed a rickshaw! Ginny cleaned your cupboards today...ha ha, so you know she is working hard..:-) I went to Canterbury and saw Oscar who says hello and i've given him the blog details as well. Have a great trip north x
anna Just been in to Plaza Mayor, Similar experience to yours no doubt. Still we got a way with wallet and shoes this time. It all sounds more and more exotic and romantic, especially the misty Taj. Love PS It was Clara who thought it was a duck!!!
Mary & Tony That's perfect being looked after so well. Sorry, I had in mind sounds for you to listen to when you return. Tony wants to know if you'll be experiencing the Thali on the train!
