fergus I've read all the comments and not looked at the photos yet. It seems like a brilliant holiday. I wish I'd had the blogging idea, it really brings it home. Snow in Brixton again today as I sit on reception at the Therapy Centre, answering in my best voice and nearly laughing with every call. I have been most struck by Paul's meal of cold chips and peas, and then by your option of pizza as an alternative to curry. Thanks for your decision not to describe the toilet on the train. I'm sure that Kerala is providing you with the beach holiday essentials that you all deserve. Sam has been at PM for four days now and we're forgetting what he looks like, so we'd have trouble picking you three out in a line-up, especially with those new tans. We have had lots of students rioting and lots of bankers with cash bonuses. Hopefully people will start adding 2 and 2 before it's too late. Leeds United are up to 2nd in the league in time for Xmas. It seems unlikely that Spurs have the stamina to last the course. Esther ran a Christmas pop up shop in Greenwich on Saturday. She needs a new elf costume as her bell's fallen off. The M5 is a car park apparently, which will be frustrating for all those who designed it as a road. Gatwick and Heathrow are now working as cross country ski resorts. Very popular with students who can't afford their fees, and merchant bankers who can't get away to their tropical paradise breaks. They are all having snowball fights and being filmed by all the film crews in the country, who have nothing to report but the weather. Of course the impossibility of getting anywhere or doing anything would be great preparation for India, if you weren't already there. Monday December 20th 10.08
ginny Hey guys, i would stay put if i were you! Very snowy here last couple days, looks fab tho. Ive decided if i ever go away and need a house sitter i will be straight on the phone to Elu, the house has been kept beautifully tidy making my job very easy. Will hopefully make it on Thurs to get house ready for your return. There is talk of more snow on weds or thurs but we shall see! Hope you enjoy your last few days of holiday and the weather holds off so you get home safely xx
Esme hi!! We've just got back from SHAKIRA!! she was brilliant!! we got waka waka AND hips dont lie !! India still sounds lovely, but its very strange being here without you!! its lovely to be back but i cant wait for you all to be here too. Me and Nahum made tortilla today but burnt the bottom... we might try and keep things even simpler than omlette in the future... :P Hope you have a lovely last few days and get back quickly and safely, we both miss you immensely (and so do the chickens who are laying at a rate we cant keep up with!) Much love to all from both of us xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

suzanne Hi LPJ, I haven't looked at the blog for a few days and am sorry to see Joe has been ill but everything else looks amazing. Make the most of sweltering, it is freezing here and we have loads of snow - I think the most we've had since we have lived at Hoys and it looks beautiful. Mimi went moonlight sledging!! Look forward to seeing you soon, seeing all your pictures and hearing more of you adventures. Lots of Love. xx
Mary & Tony Interesting you mention the tuk tuk in today's blog. This is being written the morning after the night before......safari outing with Ian R. valiantly driving with snow chains on taking us to the White Hart. So Paul, those of us that remember the conversation about importing tuk tuks, are fickle and have changed our minds, we now want skidoos. The usual suspects kitted out with wellies and a bottle of Glenfididich walked back through deep, crisp and even snow through the fields by moonlight. By common consent, a magical evening. And ditto, strange to think of you all surrounded by palm trees. Sounds like you're at the best spot, with lighthouse beech being very developed now. Cheers!
rupert and Mairman Dear PLJ we have send bags of messages but had problems sending them for some reason. Yr Parcel has arrived I think - A large pillow size package. We keep prodding it but no sign of life.You. clearly had a fantastic Holiday and we have much enjoyed reading about it. Planes seem to be sorting themselves out so best of luck for Thursday. R & M
re: Kerala, IndiaTony Sandles Could be getting your curried turkey a little earlier than planned! Latest news is some flights are being diverted to Stansted, so an easy trip home! I'm sure you will be fine. Look foraerd to seeing you all on our return. Nameste! Tony

re: Kerala, Indiarupert and mairman Dear PLJ we have very much enjoyed reading of your adventures in the exotic and mysterious East and sorry only a few more days to go.Today we had lunch with Esme and Elu at your house and drove back through fallingsnow to find thata Pillow sized package had been delivered addressed to me- could it be the parcel from India?
re: Kerala, IndiaMary & Tony Luckily, you've all got a lot of travel under your belt. By the time you get this, hopefully being fortunate to have been able to rest, Joe was up to the boat trip. On a different note, would be interested to know how you rate your experiences of laundry service. Update on The Apprentice : Stuart had hung in there, was finally fired last night as being full of s***
re: Kerala, Indiaanna Hope poor Joe is better and you and Paul haven't succumbed. Was it the Pizza??? Elu and your house seem to have survived the 15th. esme arrives on Friday to sort it all out??? One more week, enjoy it and come home safe.
re: Kerala, IndiaChruc & Co I think i rated your blog by mistake yesterday...and only gave you two stars...! I've been writing reports for days and sick of it, so your blog has been easy and welcome distraction, thank-you. Silas went back to school today to play the old pupils v teachers game and they were very happy to beat the teachers on penalties..:-) Poor old Joe, hope he feels better soon x
re: Kerala, IndiaMary ...oops, .actually I meant in Kerala (should be a definition of heaven in the dictionary)
re: Kerala, IndiaMary Nice trousers Paul. I like the way the entry comes up as Today. Travelling is today, and then yesterday and tomorrow. If only every day could be today in Cochin! Eloisa we've got a Christmas tree stand which you can use - let us know. Cheers
