Hello readers, long time reader first time writer Aimee "Wendy" Gulliver here guest blogging for your entertainment pleasure! Arriving in Cesky Krumlov from Prague was done in our usual sweat puddle, dragging Big Pink down the cobbled streets was even more entertaining than the usual haul. Huge fail in claiming my bed in our romantic room for three, worlds lumpiest pillow while the other two huas got bloody feather down luxury! Revenge was gained when Big Pink was opened and exploded all over the show... Note to self must wash underwear, dire situation! Went tubing down the river in a giant ring with Gemma, very "interesting" arrangement which involved our feet being in the others armpit... And at one stage my boob ended up in Gems knee pit. I enjoyed it. First waterfall tackled, we coped alright but Zara managed to pop right out of her tube, duck itch has yet to develop as far as we can see ha! Got a bit bored with the slow moving river and latched onto a raft which gave us a tow to the second waterfall, which is where things turned pear shaped... And that's just the description of our bruises! We adopted the superman position for the trip down, bit of a fail at the end of the rapids when the tube stopped and we flew over the front and smashed into some sneaky underwater rocks. Nursing our injuries in the shallows I looked up to see a 10 year old elephant at the helm of an inflatable raft that he could not steer with his flab filled arms... Luckily Gemma was there to pull him and his family of elephants off me!
After the stress of all that a massive slab of meat was in order to calm the nerves, massive pork steak, wedges and gherkin om nom nom!
Got wine cheese and crackers after food and waddled up the hill to the castle, where we beached ourselves with a view of the city! After all the food it was to the beach bar on the river for some liquid refreshment, and home to plot tomorrow's adventures...
