After seeing the sunrise for the second morning in a row, me and Rach had a well earned sleep in before meeting the others in the city for lunch. Ham seems to be quite popular here so dined on some delicious smoky ham and bread in the town square.
Was ridiculously hot, Aimee even resorted to chasing a sprinkler truck down the street to cool off, but we decided to do a free walking tour to learn a bit about the city. As usual, very interesting but hard to concentrate in the heat - one of the only things that I can remember is something about people getting thrown out a window but luckily there was something soft at the bottom and.....wait for it.....the Czechs bounced. Hahaha. Ahhh small things.
Saw the astronomical clock, not as amazing as it was made out to be but cool all the same then hit up the souvenir shops - lots of creepy marionettes....
Melting in the sun like the poor, unaccustomed to heat kiwis we are, headed back to the hostel for a swim in the pool and preparation for pub crawl tonight yeeeaaaah!
Made friends with some Contiki guys at our hostel, were having a few beers with them when they challenged us to a game of beer pong. As there were four of them and just me and Aim, one had to be on our team - after much grumbling one switched allegiances which he was none to happy about and proceeded to give us an inspirational team talk. Little did he know we are actually 'super athletic beer pong demons' and absolutely smashed them....while our teammate did little for the cause.
Several beers later we were off into the city to meet the pub crawl. Armed with our free t-shirts and one hour of unlimited wine, beer, vodka and absinthe shots we were off to a good start. Several pubs and vodka shots later in a sweaty underground club there was table dancing, boob and underwear flashing and a few sneaky pashes - not naming any names! Finished off the night in an epic 5-storey club...each level with a different music genre. Freaking sweet as!! Oh and hello, sunset number 3!
