Late start to the day. We headed to the BLING beaches and were instantly rewarded with a lovely silver ring with red stone - perhaps ruby or garnet. Pre dawn walk on the ocean beaches. Today's photo taken post sunrise. Having walked for an hour, turned inland with the intention of doing a circuit. Got lost in the tangle of streets in this very hilly town. After walking up the hills I walked down again. This mornings early walk took me to the mouth of the Bellinger River via the one kilometer boardwalk to the breakwater and river heads, also the ocean beach.
