Departed Coffs 0845 and headed down the coast. Decided to turn off and have a look at Urunga which had been recommended by a traveller we met at Kyogle. Had a short drive around and as we went along the esplanade between the golf course and the river we spotted two motorhomes in this idyllic location. Started the day with look around the Jumping Pillow - always figured that with all that jumping, something would bounce loose. Generally a relaxed day today. I headed off early for a morning of fossiking while Gayle had a sleep in and caught up with laundry. Today's photo is a big storm cloud moving up the coast. It stayed offshore however and we had another beautiful day. To the bowls club for lunch followed by a quiet afternoon.

Lots of dogs here and we met this one on our bike ride to the markets this morning. Nice little market. Bought a few bits and pieces and extended the ride to the south as far as we could go without tangling with the traffic. Sky divers overhead, yachts on the bay, spearfishermen and surfers in the water, dogs being walked and people out enjoying a beautiful warm Sunday morning. Today's photo is looking up the coast to the north west. I am standing on the northern breakwater which is where I had my pre dawn walk this morning, up over Muttonbird Island. Surprisingly have not seen any whales on all my walks, suspect they traverse this part of the coast further off shore due to all the small islands in this area. Beautiful warm morning. The plan for today was an early bike ride to the biggest fishing, boating and camping shop in Australia....
