Libby Welcome 'home'! 4 months is a long time..... When will you be catching-up with the gang? Highlights?
re: Swansea, TasmaniaWayne Mild sunny morning this morning now pouring with rain and looks like it has set in. Looks like you have gone native!!!! Funny number plate! Young Mileys back and full of adventures in Qld. There will be plenty of tank water to wash away the chlorine.
re: Long Gully, Victoriagaylenjim Beautiful sunset here tonight and despite the forecast from the west they say we will not too much rain.
re: Whroo, VictoriaWayne Rain started here about the same time and has not stopped all day. Washed out my plans for mowing and gardening and doing some more work on the car and trailer although Barry came to rearrange the gas set up. Sitting by the fire now as the rain has got heavier. Forecast to be around for pretty well all weekend with showers tomorrow and back to rain on Sunday. So, no gold to go with the silver?
re: Whroo, VictoriaJohn &denise Hi there, all good here I found a ring too, unpacking boxes! We have just about unpacked the container... Many short trips in the hilux up and down the drive with trailer. Gene said you may go to Swansea rather than south arm on your return. Either way do drop in for a coffee or beer when you get a chance. Best
re: Shepparton, VictoriaWayne Ah the fruits of your labours. Must be all peaches and cream? I hope you made some canny purchases? You must have a small fortune in jewellery by now? Showery and cool here today and about the same for your return next week.
re: Shepparton, VictoriaWayne Misty morning here(reminds me a Neil Diamond song or was that September Morn?) Smiffs did a great job on the Daphne especially Roz's painting. All else is fine here. Emma missing the family and looking forward to going up Thursday. Rooster still crowing(but not for much longer if can catch him).
re: Shepparton, VictoriaWayne Cool but sometimes mild here today. Overcast compared to yesteday's long sunny breaks. The river looks nice. Reminds me of Deloraine. Is the dog 5 of 9 miles from Gundagai? I have been entertaining Frankie this weekend as Em is away with her parents on their boat for the weekend. Spent most of the weekend working on the car. Finished the day off with a pleasant walk on the trail. Off to the Smiffs in the monring.
re: Wantabadgery, New South Walesgaylenjim The freeways and ring road system around the city is the recommended and accepted method of avoiding the Great Dividing Range. Had an intimate encounter with a pair of foxes on my early morning walk and have at last decided on a name for the Winnebago. See tonight's blog for detail on both.
re: Penrose, New South WalesWayne Why you went anywhere near Sydney I'll never understand!!! Each to his own I suppose. Must be awfully smelly in the Winnie if todays showers were the first you've had for the whole trip(you asked for that one!!!!) Long trousers!!!! what a wimp. Snow and shorts down here!!! Su shine this morning and 15 forecast. No doubt it will be in the high teens by the time you get back.
re: Penrose, New South WalesWayne Lots of beach erosion donw here as well with the huge swells that have been running. Winds forecast for 45ks/hr from the north west today with a red sunrise this morning. 20 degrees with rain later and snow would you believe!!! All else is fine. So you'll be on ya bike tomorrow ?
re: Nabiac, New South Walesgaylenjim Pen, Currently at National Motorcycle Museum not far from Taree. Expect you and Frank have already been here but if not it is a MUST.
