Today's blog delayed as we were out of service range of Telstra.
Foggy morning cleared to bright by 0830. Fossiked while Gayle packed up.
Hume Hwy to Gundagai. Morning tea at the Tuckerbox. Onto Junee road, turned off at Magnus and headed to Wantabadgery then on side road to beach reserve on the banks of the Murrumbidgee. Land Rover Club of ACT here as well as a few locals.
Beautiful spot among the river Red Gums as can be seen in today's photo.
Big mobs of white cockatoos screeched constantly as they nested in holes in the trees overhead. Thankfully they settled down after dark.
Fished and fossiked without success though our neighbours caught a Murray Cod just before dark. I thought it was a nice size but he released it as it was undersize (minimum 600mm).
Beautiful afternoon and evening.

Wayne Cool but sometimes mild here today. Overcast compared to yesteday's long sunny breaks. The river looks nice. Reminds me of Deloraine. Is the dog 5 of 9 miles from Gundagai? I have been entertaining Frankie this weekend as Em is away with her parents on their boat for the weekend. Spent most of the weekend working on the car. Finished the day off with a pleasant walk on the trail. Off to the Smiffs in the monring.
