This mornings early walk took me to the mouth of the Bellinger River via the one kilometer boardwalk to the breakwater and river heads, also the ocean beach. Today's photo is taken looking east towards the surf at the heads.
The morning dawned overcast but turned out hot and still (forecast 27).
Day of chatting with helpful neighbours on matters ranging from solar panels and batteries to good campsites heading south and how to most easily skirt Sydney.
All this mixed with fishing, fossiking, another walk around the town and a visit from the Ranger who told us that despite the "No Camping" signs, we can get away with 24 hrs but we should move so we don't occupy the same site for more than a day. Tomorrow we will move 50 metres to satisfy his ruling but not change our view.
Our neighbors not only know Guy and Judy live in Spauldings old house at Dunalley, he also bought a boat off Ainesley, knows Rod McNeice and Chris and Julie Weeding whose van we bought at Swansea. It is amazing!!!
Beautiful still evening, incredible reflections. Lamb stew for dinner.

Geno Small world they say... Lol
Wayne You obviously weren't "board" with the walk! What are the neighbours names? You never know they might know someone down here:):):):) Frost with clear skies this morning and snow in the air last night. A balmy 12 degrees forecast with a heat wave of 17 for Sunday. Going for the poles today.
