I'm gonna keep it short today spent most of the day on the beach with locals having Swahili lessons and after dark found myself on the beach with about 7 kids from form 3/4 talking about stars and the rotation of the earth, moon and sun. And why the moon disappears behind the earth at certain times of the year and it does not get eaten by an animal but I love the idea of singing at night asking to set the moon free that has been the most enjoyable part of the day. Worst part was thinking it would be a good idea to go into the village with no footwear and after walking down the beach in the water I burn my feet on the pavement so I spent a good 10 minutes hopping and skipping down the street seeking shade before I got to the corporative.
As I'm on my final week I know that this adventure has been so life changing in so many ways for me and I don't really want to go back, the only thing that is taking me back is to put my mums mind at ease and let her know that I'm safe.
