Welcome to the blog for my work in kenya for the Local Ocean Trust-Watamu Turtle Watch. the aim of this programme is to conserve Kenyan marine resources. The sea turtle is the flagship species and acts as an indicator of the health of the marine environment.
the work consists of: hands-on conservation, research, education, campaigning and community development. The involvement of the local community is an essential part of this work.
