Today has been chilled out yet again went back to Turtle Watch to say jambo to Anne, Mary and all the other staff and just sauntered around the village and today was the first time I didn't get hassled I think now I've been around a couple of times they realise I'm not a tourist bit I did get a huge painting today which I had my eye on a few times but yesterday when I was having ice-cream at the cafe I spent probably 2 hours looking at it.
It's not the usual silhouetted lion against the sunset that everyone paints round here don't know why I like it so much but I just do and I'm getting used to the haggling thing round here I got him from 20,000 kes down to 14,500 kes which was hard work I've learnt that walking away is the best bargaining tool ever round here, and cause I'm a mazungu it's always "I charge you African price" and "your the first person to promote my business"
Today has been the first day waking up with no plans as what to do and I truly felt as though I was holiday, chilling out by the pool, walking down the beach in the sweltering sun (it's been 40 degrees today) with my balls stuck to the side of my leg which is not comfy at all and doing a bit of local shopping. I did go to Turtle Bay Hotel for Eileen and get a photo of a memorial tree for her son and the name plate with hand prints in which was a little bit surreal coming all this way and being so close to somebody you see on a regular basis back home.
