Early start today up at 6:30 surprisingly slept very well for my first night.
Had breakfast blah blah blah then got straight stuck in with cleaning tanks which was ok, but got to hold the turtles, being so close is remarkably fascinating.
The time has flown today just finished the main orientation learning about the carapace, (shell to me and you) and planned to go on a release tomorrow.
Got some amazing close up pics of kasumni which is a hawksbill that has been here for 5 years coming here suffering from spinal deformaty and shela the green turtle, to load up later.
The house is good as well seeing the sun rise up over roofs was nice everything is just so..... can't explain how it makes you feel, it just does make you feel something.
Tonight has been good just chilling out with kun listening to music I raped from my mums iTunes, Kun is from inner Mongolia she has been in Kenya for a month now, but traveling all over??
Jasper went out tonight to the local bars he's from central kenya so used to the language and area, I stayed in cause I'm still getting used to it round here but got talking to the security guard of turtle watch trying to learn local Swahili god that was a mission and a half I don't speak Swahili he didn't speak English but thanks to Itranslate app we managed to get some where then after a while he said "kwenda" which means go so I took the hint and came back to lallie's house, all I can say is this is an amazing experience everything that has happened has been so surreal for me.
Well that's it for tonight I think I'm far to drunk on J.D to write anymore but there will deffo be more to come :))
