Well, after having only climbed out of bed at about 2pm, I got ready and went with my friends for a drive to the bank.
On the way back, I was given the opportunity to drive for a bit and was taken to a new development to view properties and drive around a bit.
When we got back we had a bit of a rest and watched a DVD. Later, at about 8:30pm, we headed to dinner with the extended family.
We went to a Chinese Restaurant a distance away from home where I got to meet some of the family and reconnect with other family members I'd met previously.
I got a chance to chat to some of the family members before joining the kids and teenagers at their table.
They all decided it would be fun to guess my age ... Eek!
First guess was that I am I'm my forties ... Eventually, one of my friend's cousins guessed my age.
Dinner itself was really good, we had a veritable smorgasbord of fish, squid, chicken, pork, yam, tofu in butternut, vegetables and rice.
I tried a bit of everything, and, to my surprise, really enjoyed it all.
After, we all posed for a group photo, which included all the families and their children. This will make a brilliant reminder of an amazing evening.
Things ended early, around 10:30pm, which has been a marked difference from the last couple of days, but i can't complain.
However, that was short lived when we went to Mamatong again to meet with Danny and wander around a Night Market.
We eventually got home around 2:30am and were up until about 5am watching DVDs, before dragging myself into bed for some sleep.
Seems to be the pattern here in South East Asia, and my body is still trying to adjust to it.
Well, best be going, will write again soon.
Ciao,
Michael
