I wake up at 5 still fully clothed. I get changed and crawl in to my bed. I get up about 11. Luckily I don't feel too bad. I check out a map of the area and have a look in my guide to see what to do today. I have seen everything I wanted yesterday, so today I'll just go for a wander. Again we have rain, but I still go out anyway.

Pick up some water en route to the park that is down by the river. Not really the postcard moment, with all this rain about, but always nice to go for a walk. Though it is not long before the rain starts coming on heavy, and I am I'll prepared, without even a coat. I hug the nearest tree for shelter, until it stops fulfilling it's role as a shelter, then it is a mad dash to the nearest coffee shop. Grab something to eat and a coffee. I think I'll leave here tomorrow, nothing in particular I want to see that I haven't. It is nice to get the peace and quiet though. Hanoi can become somewhat over bearing. This place is deserted in comparison. After lunch I meander through the streets on my way back. Many people stop me to talk to me, but it always ends up in them trying to sell me something. I'm always friendly, but sometimes I get annoyed that it always comes back to selling me something. Before I go back to the hotel I book me bus ticket for tomorrow.

For dinner I ask the girl in reception for a recommendation. She tells me somewhere, but I leave with no concept of how long it will take me to get there. So I start walking in the general direction, I find a wee place on the street and I pull up a plastic chair. Something arrives in front of me. Looks like the inside of some animal, tastes like the inside of some animal. I eat it up. Mmmmm, yummy! Dander back to the hotel and decide to have a movie night as I have a tv in my room. Bit of transformers followed by sphere followed by bed!
