Feeling tired from my hectic couple of days it time to soak up what HCM has to offer. Just some coffee in the street, with some free tea of course. I'm practicing my Vietnamese and I am pleased to say that my pronunciation is improving. Well it would need to be, I have been here for nearly 2 months.

It's interesting to me how my trip has not turned out how I planned. When I started I had rough time scales, but now? Phhft. Anything can happen. I hoke out my Australian visa application, I know I need to be there in March, but I'm not sure if it is the start or the end of March. March 5th, right, that gives me 3 months, so that shouldn't be a problem. I think forward to Cambodia, can't imagine spending more than 2 weeks there, then Thailand for Christmas. This has to be my plan, give me a sense of urgency.

Tea leaves today so I grab a baguette and a coffee with we before she goes. I try to give her back the 500,000 that she secretly paid extra for my Moto, but she is having none of it. I am still so astounded by the generosity and kindness that I have experienced during my whole trip. It has to be seen to be believed. Tea gets in her taxi and heads off to the airport. I head to 'Cheeky Monkey' with Spencer and his Korean friend TaeKyu. The live band in here are great, and they only play English songs, even take requests, I'll maybe save that for another night. After the live music we head up the main bar street for a few games of pool. It's not the cheapest place in town, but it does have a free pool table. As I have been here a few times the girls don't even look at me anymore because they know I won't be buying them any drinks. Ha. We play quite late, and as I consume more beer, my game gets much worse. Time to go home I think.
