Very lazy morning, don't even bother to get breakfast. Tea picks me up after she finishes work and we go to Da Nang, it is the largest close city, about 30km away. The road is fantastic, two lanes each way and finished in Tarmac probably the best road I have seen in Vietnam. When we get to Da Nang I can see the coast, beautiful sandy beach stretching round as far as I can see. We stop the bike and take a walk in the sand, glorious. People are playing volleyball and football on the beach. It's pretty busy, all to the soundtrack of the waves.

It's in to the city after that for some food. I thought Hanoi was bad, but when we get in to Da Nang I think it's worse. There is this one junction where there were literally 100s of bikes all trying to move through each other. Literally all you can see are bikes, everywhere. It's not to far to our eating place and my heart is still pumping from the junction.

Tea's friend comes to meet us. She lives in Da Nang, Lin. She brings her camera with her, a D40 and the 50mm 1.8 that I have back on the house. Dinner is regularly interrupted for photos to be taken, as is the Asian way. After dinner Lin takes us to a bridge in the city. It changes colours and looks pretty awesome. Of course this calls for a disembark and photo shoot combo. Various poses and shots are taken before we head further up the bridge for some different shots. Along both sides of the bridge there are professionals who will take a phot for you, at a price. There are so many people here, just taking photos. Lin tells me that there are photographers here every night, must be some money in it to make it worth while. Cars and bikes are just stopping in the right hand lane to take photos. It's all so normal for them. Not for me! I recall dad's story of stopping on the motorway to capture a sunset. No problem here. We take so many photos, the evening has faded away, so it is time for us to head home. We say goodbye to Lin and head home. On the way back Tea gives me a little go on the bike. Awesome I'll be renting one of those tomorrow, weather permitting.
