An early rise for the last day of diving, after this I am going to be a fully qualified diver, nice. Meet at 7.15 and we are on the boat where we go out to do our last couple of dives, this time a girl from the dive school has come with us and she is going to take video of us underwater and put together a DVD for us. Of course this is not free and I shudder to think of the cost when she has it completed. The dives today were brilliant because it is at this point that I feel that I really know what I am doing so I can really enjoy the dive. We complete a couple of the required skills, but for the most part it is just diving. We get to see some fantastic things including a turtle and some giant groupers. These groupers are so huge, easily bigger than the average man, and they have some bake on them, not happy about something. We get to execute the forward roll of the boat and in to the sea, always entertaining. One of the guys from our group had a particularly heavy night on the sauce last night and so he is struggling a lot today, thank god it is not me. I think the forward roll nearly killed him, ha. As usual the diving is over far too quickly and we are back at the hostel in no time. James gets us our dive books and that's it, qualified. Our dive cards will be sent out to out home addresses and so we get a temporary card for any diving that we may do. We arrange to meet back at 5.30 to watch the DVD of our diving.

As i've checked out I ask Jeff if it would be possible for me to use his shower as I have been in the sea. It's not a problem and so after a short walk we are back at his bungalow. It's pretty nice and it's where him and Charles will be staying for the rest of their time here. I grab a shower and then chill out with a beer relaxing outside by the pool. Tough life. Before I know it, it is time for us to head back to watch the DVD. Beers in hand we sit down to watch, it's great, Zoe has done a good job of capturing the experience and I get some good screen time, with an easily identifiable snorkel. Then comes the kicker, £40!! I think this is a bit too steep and so we don't buy, instead Jeff, myself and the 2 Austrians split it, Jeff is going to rip it and then post us the link so that we can download it, perfect. After another beer and some chat it is time for me to go, so I say my goodbyes and clear my stuff out of my locker before the walk down to the travel agents where I am getting my bus. On the bus and down to the pier, for some reason a couple of hours before the boat sails. I grab some food with the other western girl who was in the taxi, turns out I had met her before in Hoi An, and she was pretty drunk, goes by the name of Vicky.

We head to the boat with time to spare and get straight on. This is a 2 levelled boat with just beds running down either side. When I say beds, what I mean is a thin mattress, that's it, with a number above the bed. Luckily we are on the top floor which doesn't have as many beds and we were the last 2 people on the boat and so I have no one to one side of me. Not bad. I can't help but feel that this is what the people in southern Thailand think of us, just lined up like animals and shipped of the island. Ha. Is it odd that this doesn't even seem strange to me? Lights go out fairly quick and so it is time to try and get some sleep. Let's see how that goes.
