Have to get up early and change rooms, because for some reason they book people in to rooms and it is difficult to change it. Not that I can see where the difficulty is, but you know, whatever, I cart my stuff to the room next door. As my life is so hectic I decide to take a chill day. Just chatting to people in the hostel and playing some games. That is until I start to get hungry and then I have to venture out in to the world. Right down in to Chinatown, where I am sure I will find something good. I get to some stall and grab some spicy pork balls and some spicy pork burger thing. Pretty good, especially with the addition of some good old bubble tea.

Having considered the possibility of writing a book, I nip to a local shop and pick myself up a notepad where I can put down some of my ideas. Not that I think of myself as a writer, but when I have the time I do enjoy it, so I can record my thoughts and ideas in this notepad, and maybe one day it will materialise in to something, or maybe not, who knows. I spend what is left of the afternoon, jotting down a few ideas. It's amazing how quickly the afternoon gets eroded.

I head to my room just before I intend to go out for some dinner and I have company. An Asian girl has just arrived, well I thought Asian, but she is from Germany, with a Chinese father, so it's just like talking to a European. I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed, not that I show it of course. I ask her if she has eaten and I tell her that I am heading out if she would like to join me. We head back down Chinatown as she hasn't seen it yet, and we end up stopping somewhere for BBQ. Nice. Much more expensive than my bargain satay place in Melaka, but nice none the less. We sink a couple of beers and Sabilla isn't the most chatty of people, leaving me to fill in all the blanks, I hate that. We have a look around the market and she picks up a shot glass, as this is her thing and then we head back to the hostel. She only has a few days in KL and wants to plan them, so I give her my advice and then it's time for bed.

Bed time is not the relaxing affair that it normally is. First of all the AC has been set to sub zero and the place is so cold, this in itself isn't a big problem, but the position of my bed means that there is a chill blowing right over me. Time for the buff, round my face and lugs and I am good for sleep. Second, as I am setting my alarm I notice a bug on the wall, further inspection and it turns out to be a bed bug, nice and fat and full of blood. Squash! Goodbye! Of course now I start pulling the clothes off me bed to conduct a through inspection. Thankfully my investigation turns up no more of the b******s and so I can sleep with confidence.
