Just an easy day today, legs aren't feeling too bad today, but I don't think walking around and sweating will do them any good so just take it easy.

I get down to some serious planning this afternoon. Need to make the most of the next few days, there I quite a lot I want to see here so possibly 3 more days worth of stuff. Was chatting to the guy at reception to see what the best way to organise my days are. He gives me some good advice to save me time. Its difficult to pick out what I want to see because there is that much. I don't want to be suffering from temple fatigue this early in the trip. Need to find ones that are different, interesting, off the beaten track. Quite the recon task I can tell you.

Head out for dinner, across the river where all the eating places are. We had walked past most of these places before on previous nights. I decide to try this 8 story building that is full of restaurants. I pick my floor based on the description downstairs, then it's in to the lift. No stairs, no hallway, lift door open and you're there. Once the doors open I'm greeted with pumping music and low lighting. I walk over and ask for a table for 1. She hasn't a clue what I'm saying, so she goes to get someone. I ask about a table he says to wait. Then he says how many, I tell him it's just me and then he has a conversation with the girl and suddenly it's an hour wait. I can't help but get the feeling I wasn't cool enough for this gaff. I say my thank you then get bundled in to a lift with 10 other people, cosy. I continue down the street and get to somewhere that looks more like It caters for the bearded solo westerner. Wee vending machine at the door with some pictures, I picked something I thought was tempura, I obviously did it wrong, I got chicken. It was good though, some BBQ sauce, rice, miso soup, pickles, tofu and free refills on the rice. Good job!
