Decided a bit of retail-therapy was in order so off to Val d'Europe and ????Vallee out by Disneyland. It's a huge shopping complex and "discount" outlet arrangement. Oh our aching legs! Didn't get up until mid-morning. Missed breakfast, so lunch a nearby McDonalds before heading into Paris to the Eiffel Tower. Fluked a car-park close by and the ticket queue was tiny.....what luck (or so we thought). Quickly up to the second level, but the wait for the lift to the top was so long, Ian had to return to the car to top-up the meter to prevent it being towed. Day dawned cloudless, sunny and hot...the perfect day for Parc du Disney, for Tom's birthday. Got there nice and early and a park near the entrance.
