The promised weather change to cloud and showers didn't eventuate (just a bit of drizzle overnight) and the day dawned hot, humid and sunny again. John took us off to the Tremouille Reptile Park, where we spent a couple of hours looking close-up at snakes, lizards and turtles.

Went to Montmorillon for a simple lunch and look around the quaint village, before heading back to Lignac. After a short nap, the boys headed off to Chaillac to the carwash to try and get the baked-on bugs and cow manure off the Peugot. Managed to get Tom soaked, but being wet was cooling after another 32°c day.

Cooked a simple dinner before watching some telly. Bruce and Dilly (Johns friends) popped in to say hello and we didn't hit the hay until midnight.
