Yaay I had a lie in today! Until 7am...
I then got up, had pancakes for breakfast and went on a walking tour of Wallace Rockhole with a local guide. It was very interestimg - we learned more about the culture and history which is just so different from us!
We then went to the arts centre and i attempted to paint a bookmark. It's dreadful.
Then we had an early lunch before we drove to Standley Chasm, which essentially is a smaller version of Kings Canyon, but is just as pretty and much quieter. When we there there on the spur of the moment we then decided to walk a bit of the larapinta trail - something which i now desperatelywant to go back and do the whole of - 22 days of walking and camping in tthe most beautiful place!
We then drove on to simpsons gap, which was a pretty place but we didnt spend much time there, it was pretty similar to better places that we had already seen along the way! From there we went to feed some wallabies, which were too cute and then returned to Alice by about 6.
In the evening I met up with a bunch of the guides from the company and their friends and went out to a backpackers bar called annie's which was a lot of fun - an early birthday celebration which i really enjoyed!
