This morning was a 5.30 wake up again. Yaay..
We ate breakfast ans then went to kings canyon for a 6.5km walk, which was beautiful. There were some amzing viewpoints, and the whole thing was very exciting for a geographer! The whole area is just so different from anywhere elseI have ever seen, and the rocks are just too cool.
After our walk we headed back to camp for an early lunch and then got in the truck to drive some more. Wedropped froggy off with some other people, and then Drove for hundreds of kilometres along dirt roads, without seeing anyone. I was sat in the front seat so i had huge views of the emptiness! On the drive we stopped at a washing machine. Yes. A washing machine. Just in the middle of the outback, and doc made a bug thing of pretending to do his washing. We qlso drove past a fashion tree, and i added some stuff to it!
We then arrived in hermansburf, an aboriginal settlement, in which they all converted to lutherans. Here we dropped off most of the group so they coukd join another bus and then we drove on for a relaxed evening in wallace rockhole, just 4 of us, in yet another remote campsite in the outback.
