This morning we head off at 9am for a guided bike ride. Paap, Tony, John, Lisa, Lindsay and I took in the challenge. I thought we were off to the beach.....
We started the cycle with me forgetting they drive on the opposite side of the road... Whoops. Once we were on our way we went off the main road through the local villages. There was lots of farming abc one of the local men who was 84yo showed us how he carries several litres of water and waters his crops. Long also had a go and you can tell he used to work on a farm!
There were lots of things to look at like men making knives, interesting things on moto, villagers and wonky bamboo bridges! After our 8km ride we then got on a boat back to town with our bikes. I was stuffed and when then offered to ride to the beach I headed to lunch instead...!
We lazed about for the rest of the arvo watching movies then headed into town to pickup our jewellery and have dinner. We decided to try a fancy place called Green Mango, it was delish! I've been told I talk too much bout food but that's half the reason I'm here! I had salmon wontons for entree and lamb sausages for main.... One of the best meals so far!
An early night ready for our big trip to Ho Chi Minh City. I have really enjoyed Hoi An, definately somewhere to come back to!
