What a brilliant nights sleep! Feeling much better, thanks for asking!
This morning we have a cooking class, Paap, Tony, Pippa and I head into town and meet Thanh. She has a little place in town near the dock and she runs a renowned cooking class there. She is a bit of a character and explains everything really well. We made four courses; sweet & sour chicken soup, fried pork spring rolls, papaya salad & fish in banana leaf. All delish!!
It was a hot day and after eating our yummy lunch I was ready ho hit the pool. But more shopping called, this time jewellery. Then back to the hotel to finally get that swim!!
After lazing about for a bit we headed back to town to have another fitting at the tailors. My work outfit was pretty much perfect so will be delivered tonight, my dresses needed some alterations do need to go back for them.
We then wandered through the streets and the shops and headed back to hotel to hopefully collect our washing! As promised, Linh was at the gate at 5pm with our 8kg of washing! After paying the princely sum of $12 we were on our way with our lovely washed clothes!!
Food and a final fitting at the tailors was calling do back into town again! My two dresses were now good to go! So we headed for a drink and dinner at Lantern Town restaurant. After a few cocktails we got into our yummy dinner. I had to order more fried wontons, am becoming obsessed with them! After some red wine and a few too many cocktails we stumbled into a taxi and back to the hotel....
