Today we left Luang Prabang to travel by private bus to Vang Vieng, approx 260km. The trip takes about 7hrs including rest stops.

Paap isn't feeling the best after last night but I am all good.... Until part way into the trip. This trip is well know with those travelling through Laos for its winding roads, spectacular scenery and guy churning motion sickness.

Our first stop was a view point over the
nam khan river, very pretty. There was some birds there which didn't look happy, I think the owner had clipped tails and wings and they couldn't fly away. One was clearly distressed which was not good. Anyway, back in the bus we went.

After that stop I really wasn't good. Feeling quite ill with the twists and turns. Which is strange as I don't usually get sick. By the time we got to lunch I thought I was going to be sick and did not want to get into the bus again! I think i might have been feeling a bit homesick as well. Didn't eat much at lunch and felt generally down in the dumps! :(

The next part of the journey wasn't as bad and I felt better, thank god. All in all not a great day so far.... Chin up!
