Jeffery's Bay is a long stretch of white/golden sand with the breaking waves of the beautiful blue/green Indian Ocean. Continuing our attempt to chill out after Cape Town, we proceeded our trip by heading east from Oudtshoorn to Wilderness. We spent a night at Fairy Knowe backpackers, which was idyllic. Situated off a river, Fairy Knowe was set in amongst the mountain river valley, with lots of trees and plants, reminding me very much of an English garden. Movin' On We left Cape Town to spend a few days in Outdshoorn. Set back in the countryside, Oudtshoorn is surrounded by mountains and is very relaxed compared to Cape Town. We are staying in Backpackers Paradise, which is just like paradise. The smell of huge smokey log fires greats you (it is winter here), bif comfy sofas, rooms the size of mansion and an invitation to be cooked for - fantastic. What a start to the journey! Arrived in Cape Town after a long, but generally good flight! Since arriving we have not stopped!
